2024 Vendor Applications


Thieves Market Vendor Obligations

Application Review Process

Your application is subject to review. We will consider all vendor applications; however, there are a limited number of spaces available. We reserve the right to select the vendors that will be the most appropriate for our event and we strive to avoid duplication of vendors. Applications will not be accepted after Thursday, Aug. 15th, 2024. Vendors will be notified of receipt of application by email if selected. If your application is approved we will invoice you and for payment.

NOTE: We do not accept food vendors nor beverage (spirits) vendors.  

Booth Placement

Booth assignments are given on a first come, first serve basis. Tybee Festival Association will try to accommodate requests, and will offer a preferred location fee for 2024 where vendors will be able to request location. These will be limited as there are only so many spaces available.

Booth Installation

Exhibitors must provide and set-up their own tents, tables, chairs, sides, lights or any other items needed to do business at the event. Costs paid to the Tybee Festival Association are for the use of space only. Vendors should be prepared for the possibility of rain and be sure they are equipped with a rain plan. Tents must be no larger than 10×10 and be colored either black or white, and must have weights.

Booth installation times are from 9AM-3PM on Friday, October 11th. All booths should be open and operational by the opening time of the market on Friday, October 11th at 5PM. All vehicles must be out of the grounds by 3PM. All booths should be open and operational by the opening time of the market on Saturday, October 12th at 11AM. If you need more time to set up please let us know so we can schedule you to come in on Thursday Oct. 10th

Exhibitors must install, manage, and conduct their exhibits only in the space allotted to them and in a neat and orderly manner. Signs and materials must not encroach upon or limit the line of sight on neighboring vendors and in such a way as not to be a menace or nuisance to neighboring vendors.


Vendors have designated times to unload on-site and then must move their vehicles to a parking area. Tybee Festival Association is not responsible for parking fees.


Vehicles are permitted on-site until 3PM on Friday, October 11th. All vehicles must be removed at that time. Vehicles will be permitted on-site for the removal of merchandise on October 13th, 2024, 4pm or after all guests have left the festival area. All booths and vehicles must be removed by 7pm Sunday, October 13th, 2024.


Vendors may have access to electricity in their location, please bring your own extension cords and any other needs.

Hours of Operation

All vendors are expected to remain on-site, and are expected to remain open for business during festival hours.

  • Early Installation Thursday, October 10th 12pm-3pm
  • Load In Friday, October 11th 9am-3pm
  • Festival Open Friday, October 11th 5pm-11pm*
  • Saturday, October 12th11am-11pm*
  • Sunday, October 13th 11am-4pm
  • Load Out Sunday, October 13th 4pm-7pm**

*Please note: the festival will remain open for Main stage acts until 11pm. Vendors wishing to stay open until this time may do so at their own discretion.

** Vehicles are not permitted into the festival zone until all guests have exited the site.


Tybee Festival Association will provide overnight security on Friday, October 11th & Saturday, October 12. Tybee Festival Association will take reasonable precautions to ensure the safekeeping of your goods; however, Tybee Festival Association is not responsible for any damaged or stolen property. Please have your own sides to secure your merchandise.

City Permit

All vendors without a valid Tybee business license must apply for a temporary event vendor license through Tybee Island Pirate Fest. Vendors must complete the appropriate form and return it to Tybee Festival Association for consideration. Vendors without a city permit at the time of load in will not be allowed to participate in the festival.


Festival Vendor Costs
  • 10×10 vendor space $265
    • 10 x 10 space with access to electricity.
    • discount for each space over two.
      • (1) space = $265
      • (2) spaces =$300
      • (3) spaces = $400
      • (4) spaces = $500
  • City of Tybee Island Permit  Included in fee ($75.00)
Optional Costs
  • Preferred Tent Location Fee (per tent) $100
    (this fee is to reserve prime location tents near the bar and main stage 10 spaces available)

All payments are due no later than August 20th, 2024. The following are payment options for the 2024 Tybee Island Pirate Festival.

  • Paid in Full: All costs paid in full at the time of application.
  • Payment Plan: 50% deposit due upon application/50% due by August 20th , 2024

Any vendors on payment plan that have not made final payments by August 20th will not receive a vendor packet and will not be permitted to participate in the festival. No payment will be accepted festival weekend.

Payment Types

Credit Card: all vendors will be required to pay with credit card online. Vendors may elect to have the credit card automatically charged if utilizing the payment plan.
