I-95 is the major north/south interstate from New England to Miami and is just 10 miles from Savannah’s Historic District. I-16 is the major east/west interstate.
Directions from Downtown Savannah
Exit off I-95 to I-16 East. Take Martin Luther King Blvd exit and turn left. Follow MLK Blvd until Bay St. Take a right and follow Bay St. to President’s Expressway, take a left. Follow the expressway until it hits U.S. Highway 80 and merge left onto 80. Follow U.S. 80 into Tybee Island. Festival is located in the Strand Parking Lot beside the pier.

Will the South Beach Lot be open for parking?
There is no parking shown on the map. So do we uver in. That island is small. Parking limited.
There is parking in the 14th street lot as well as street parking. There is a Free Shuttle Fri 5pm-11pm and Saturday 11am-11pm except during the parade. On Friday and Saturday you can park all over and catch the shuttle including the North Beach Lot.
